SLICED APPLES DIPPED IN DARK CHOCOLATE TOPPED WITH PEANUT BUTTER DRIZZLE AND CRUSHED PEANUT BUTTER CUPS

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 MEDIUM RED APPLES
  • ¾ CUP DARK CHOCOLATE CHIPS
  • 1 TBSP COCONUT OIL
  • ⅓ CUP CINNAMON CEREAL PROTEIN POWDER
  • 2 TBSP PEANUT BUTTER
  • TOPPINGS: CRUSHED PEANUTS + CRUSHED PEANUT BUTTER CUPS

DIRECTIONS:

  1. SLICE EACH APPLE (WITH CORE IN THE MIDDLE OF EACH SLICE) INTO THREE SLICES. TAKE A SMALL CIRCLE CUT OUT AND REMOVE THE CORE PIECE FROM EACH APPLE SLICE.
  2. MELT THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS IN A MICROWAVE SAFE BOWL WITH THE COCONUT OIL. ONCE MELTED FOLD IN THE PROTEIN POWDER.
  3. COAT EACH SLICE WITH THE CHOCOLATE MIXTURE. SET ON A BAKING SHEET WITH PARCHMENT PAPER. DRIZZLE WITH PEANUT BUTTER AND TOPPINGS OF YOUR CHOICE.
  4. FREEZE FOR ONE HOUR AND THEN SERVE!
