SLICED APPLES DIPPED IN DARK CHOCOLATE TOPPED WITH PEANUT BUTTER DRIZZLE AND CRUSHED PEANUT BUTTER CUPS
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 MEDIUM RED APPLES
- ¾ CUP DARK CHOCOLATE CHIPS
- 1 TBSP COCONUT OIL
- ⅓ CUP CINNAMON CEREAL PROTEIN POWDER
- 2 TBSP PEANUT BUTTER
- TOPPINGS: CRUSHED PEANUTS + CRUSHED PEANUT BUTTER CUPS
DIRECTIONS:
- SLICE EACH APPLE (WITH CORE IN THE MIDDLE OF EACH SLICE) INTO THREE SLICES. TAKE A SMALL CIRCLE CUT OUT AND REMOVE THE CORE PIECE FROM EACH APPLE SLICE.
- MELT THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS IN A MICROWAVE SAFE BOWL WITH THE COCONUT OIL. ONCE MELTED FOLD IN THE PROTEIN POWDER.
- COAT EACH SLICE WITH THE CHOCOLATE MIXTURE. SET ON A BAKING SHEET WITH PARCHMENT PAPER. DRIZZLE WITH PEANUT BUTTER AND TOPPINGS OF YOUR CHOICE.
- FREEZE FOR ONE HOUR AND THEN SERVE!
